How do I know what size to give GulpDust?
Measure the surface the adapter will actually touch, not the nominal size printed on the box. If a stub sticks out, measure across the outside. If there is an opening, measure across the inside. Our builder shows you exactly where to put the caliper for your setup.
What if my hose or tool is not a common size?
That is exactly what GulpDust is for. We do not need to already stock your size. Give us the two numbers you measure and we print the part between them, so an unusual connection is not a problem.
Do I need calipers to measure?
Calipers are the most accurate tool, but a ruler works too. Measure straight across the surface, not around it. Our builder walks you through both methods before you enter a number.
What ways can the adapter connect?
Snug removable, easy slip, or clamp fit. Pick the hold that matches how often you take the connection apart, and we build the part to match both your measurement and that choice.
What material is the adapter made from?
PETG. Heat that softens PLA does not bother it, so it keeps its shape in a hot truck or shop. It flexes instead of cracking, so it survives drops and daily use. Every adapter we print is PETG.
Can I reorder the same adapter later?
Yes. Every configuration you build gets saved with its own ID. Come back, open it, and print the same part again. No re-measuring required.
