Power Tool Dust Port Sizes by Brand
These are the sizes at the tool itself. This is the small end of your adapter. We name a port by its inside size. The outside size is a few millimeters larger because the wall has thickness.

How to Measure Your Tool Dust Port with Calipers
If you are not sure what size your tool has, measure the outside diameter (OD) of the port stub. The stub is the small cylinder that sticks out of the tool body. Use digital calipers for accuracy.
Measure across the outside of the cylinder, not the hole inside. The adapter slides over this stub, so the adapter must match the stub OD. We name each port by its inside size, and the outside is a few millimeters larger. A 35mm port has a 39mm OD stub. A 36mm port has a 40mm OD stub.
If you only have a ruler, measure in millimeters across the outside of the stub. Then match to the table above. The most common results are 31.5mm (a 27mm Festool port), 35.0mm (a 31.75mm cordless port), 39mm (a 35mm Bosch port), and 40mm (a 36mm Makita port).
