About This Adapter
Catch the dust right at the tool, so it ends up in the vac and not in your lungs or all over the bench. This part connects the Makita DRT50 dust port (32mm) to a Kobalt KCV-9-06 Shop Vac hose or fitting (47.6mm ID).
It is printed in PETG, so it shrugs off heat and shop solvents and will not crack like brittle PLA. The friction fit grips the hose, so you skip the tape and clamps in most setups.

- Do I need clamps or tape?
- No. Both ends are a friction fit, so they push on and grip on their own in most setups. If your hose is worn, a wrap of tape helps.
- What is it made of?
- PETG. It handles shop heat up to about 80C, shrugs off common shop solvents, and takes drops without cracking like brittle PLA.
