The WEN CT1525 is a 15 amp, 7-1/4 in. circular saw. It cuts fast, and fast cuts make a cloud of sawdust. Hooking a vac to the saw pulls that dust away at the blade, so your line stays clear and your lungs stay clean.
The port sits on the upper blade guard. We print a GulpDust PETG adapter to your port measurement on one end and to your shop vac hose on the other, so the hose holds instead of falling off.

WEN CT1525 Dust Port: What Connects To It
The CT1525 comes with a dust port that installs on the upper blade guard. We print the PETG adapter to the size you measure there.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 in. or 2-1/2 in. Neither one seals on a saw port by itself. That gap is why dust sprays past the hose instead of going into it.
The adapter grips the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other, so you get a snug fit.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the WEN CT1525
First, install the dust port on the upper blade guard if it is not on yet. The manual shows the step. Then clear any packed dust out of the port, so it fits snug.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. We print it to the size you measure, so a firm push holds it. Press your shop vac hose onto the other end. Turn the vac on before the blade touches wood.
Why Hook a Vac to a Budget Circular Saw
A circular saw throws chips and fine dust in a wide arc. The fine stuff hangs in the air long after the cut, and that is the part that hurts your lungs.
You do not need a pro saw to fix that. The CT1525 has a real port an adapter can grab, so a cheap printed part and the vac you already own give you cleaner air on day one.
