Full port and fit detail for this tool

The Kreg 720PRO is a pocket-hole jig. Pocket-hole drilling makes a huge amount of chips, fast. Every hole sends a fresh pile onto your bench and into the jig. The 720PRO fights back with a dust port, and Kreg includes a vacuum adapter in the box.

The port is round and it sits at the rear. Our adapter fits it. A GulpDust PETG adapter matches the port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other. No tape. No clamps.

Kreg 720PRO Dust Port: What Fits It

Kreg includes a vacuum adapter with the 720, which tells you the company expects you to hook up a vac. The port itself is round and sits at the back of the jig.

Our adapter is printed to fit that port on one end and your hose on the other end. It holds with a firm push.

Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. When the hose does not match the port, chips blow past the joint and pile up anyway. A matched adapter closes that gap.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Kreg 720PRO

Wipe the chips out of the port first. A clean port gives the best grip.

Press the tool end of the PETG adapter into the port. It is a friction fit. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end.

Turn the vac on before you drill. Chips get pulled the moment the bit makes them.

Why Pocket-Hole Jigs Need Dust Collection

A pocket-hole bit removes a lot of wood in one short plunge. That is why the chip pile grows so fast.

Loose chips pack into the jig and spill across your bench. Enough buildup and you are stopping to brush out the guide between holes.

A vac on the port pulls chips the moment they form. The jig stays clear, the bench stays clean, and you keep drilling.

Kreg 720PRO Dust Collection FAQ

What size is the dust port on the Kreg 720PRO?+

It is a round port at the rear of the jig. Our adapter is built to fit it. You pick the hose end you need.

Does the Kreg 720PRO come with a vacuum adapter?+

Yes. Kreg includes a vacuum adapter with the 720. It still may not match the shop vac hose you own, and that is what our adapter is for.

Will my shop vac hose fit the Kreg 720PRO?+

Probably not by itself. Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch, and the jig port is its own size. A GulpDust adapter grips the port on one end and your hose on the other.

Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+

No. The adapter is a friction fit. You press it onto the port and it holds. The vac hose end works the same way.

Do you sell the design file?+

No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.
