Kreg ACS-SAW Track Saw Dust Port Size and Shop Vac Adapter
The Kreg ACS-SAW is the plunge track saw in the Kreg Adaptive Cutting System. It rides a guide track and cuts straight, clean lines in plywood and other sheet goods. Track saws throw a stream of fine dust right at the cut line, so a tight dust hookup matters.
The port numbers are solid. The Kreg ACS manual states a 35 mm port, and a measured adapter confirms 35 mm inside with a 40 mm outer. Our PETG adapter plugs into that port and steps it to any standard shop vac or dust extractor hose. No tape. No clamps.

Kreg ACS-SAW Dust Port Size: 35 mm Inside, 40 mm Outside
Two sources agree on this port. The Kreg ACS manual states a 35 mm port. A measured adapter confirms 35 mm on the inside with a 40 mm outer. That is why we list these numbers as fact.
A 35 mm port is the same size class Festool and Makita use on their track saws. It is much smaller than a common shop vac hose. Most vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch, so they cannot grip the port on their own. That size gap is why taped joints leak dust.
A GulpDust adapter fits the 35 mm port on one end and your bigger vac hose on the other end. You get a tight seal and full suction at the blade.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Kreg ACS Track Saw
Clear any dust out of the rear port first. A clean port gives the best grip.
Push the small end of the PETG adapter into the 35 mm port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm press. Then press your shop vac or dust extractor hose onto the wide end.
Turn the vac on before you plunge. Pulling dust while you cut keeps the track and your line clear from the first inch.
Why the Kreg ACS Needs Good Dust Collection
A track saw cuts a narrow kerf and blows fine dust out of the guard. Without a hose, that dust settles on the track, the workpiece, and your line.
Dust under the track can let it shift, and dust on the line hides your mark. Pulling dust at the port keeps the cut true and the air clean.
Match the adapter to the 35 mm port and run a steady vac. Any shop vac with the right adapter does the main job.
Kreg ACS-SAW Dust Collection FAQ
What size is the dust port on the Kreg ACS-SAW?+
The port is 35 mm on the inside and 40 mm on the outer. It is a round port at the rear of the saw. Our adapter plugs into the 35 mm side.
Is the 35 mm port size confirmed?+
Yes. The Kreg ACS manual states a 35 mm port, and a measured adapter confirms 35 mm with a 40 mm outer. Two sources agree, so we list it as fact.
Does the Kreg ACS-SAW work with a regular shop vac?+
Yes, with an adapter. Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch, which is much bigger than the 35 mm port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other.
Do I need clamps to attach the adapter?+
No. The adapter is a friction fit. You press it into the port and it holds. The vac hose end works the same way.
Can I print this adapter myself?+
Yes. You can buy the printed PETG part shipped from the US, or download the STL file and print it at home. We suggest PETG with 3 walls and 25 percent infill.
