The Ridgid R48630 is an 18V brushless track saw with a 6-1/2 inch blade. It rides on a track to make long, straight cuts in plywood and other sheet goods. Every one of those long cuts pours fine dust right along your cut line.
The dust port on this saw is round and sits at the rear. A GulpDust PETG adapter fits that port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other end. No tape. No clamps.

Ridgid R48630 Dust Port: What Fits It
The R48630 has a round dust port at the rear of the saw. Ridgid runs one shared port design across a lot of its cordless line.
Our PETG adapter fits that port. It presses on and holds by friction, so it stays put while the saw runs down the track.
The other end of the adapter takes your shop vac hose. Pick your hose end, 1-1/4 in or 2-1/2 in, and that is the end you get.
Why a Track Saw Needs the Vac at the Port
A track saw cuts long. The blade guard funnels chips straight out the back the whole way down the sheet.
With the vac hooked up, the dust leaves through the hose instead of settling on the track. A clean track means the saw glides and the cut stays straight.
You also see your line. Sheet goods are unforgiving, and a clear line is half the cut.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Ridgid R48630 Track Saw
Wipe the port clean first. Packed dust keeps the adapter from seating all the way.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so it holds with a firm push. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end.
Turn the vac on before you cut. A track saw is all about long, clean cuts, and a clear view of the line makes those cuts easier. You also breathe a lot less dust.
