WEN 20691 20V Track Saw Dust Port Size and Vacuum Adapter Guide
The WEN 20691 is a 20V cordless, brushless, 6-1/2 in. plunge cut track saw. Cordless means you can rip a sheet anywhere, and that means the dust follows you anywhere too. Hooking a vac to the port pulls the dust at the blade, so your cut line stays clear and the room stays breathable.
WEN prints the port size in the manual, which most brands never do. The dust port adapter at the back of the saw is 35 mm inside and 39.5 mm outside. A GulpDust PETG adapter matches that port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other, so the hose seals instead of popping off mid rip.

WEN 20691 Dust Port Size: 35 mm Inside, 39.5 mm Outside
The dust port adapter on the 20691 mounts at the back of the saw. The WEN manual states the size twice: 35 mm inside and 39.5 mm outside. It is in the setup steps and in the spec table.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. Neither one seals on a 35 mm port by itself. That gap is why dust trails the saw instead of going into the hose.
A GulpDust adapter is printed to match the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other, so you get a snug fit with no tape and no clamps.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the WEN 20691
First, clear any packed dust out of the port, so the seal is tight.
Press the small end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so a firm push holds it. Press your shop vac hose onto the other end. Turn the vac on before you plunge, so the first chips go into the hose and not onto your track.
A hose does add a little drag on a cordless saw. Route it over your shoulder or along the track, so it feeds smoothly and does not tug the saw off line.
Why a Cordless Track Saw Still Needs Dust Collection
Going cordless cuts the power cord, not the dust. The 20691 makes the same fine dust as a corded saw, and that dust hangs in the air and settles on the track.
Pulling the dust right at the port keeps the track clean and the air clear. You see your line, and you breathe easier. One small printed adapter is all it takes.
WEN 20691 Dust Collection FAQ
What size is the dust port on the WEN 20691?+
The port is round. It is 35 mm on the inside and 39.5 mm on the outside. Those numbers come from the WEN owner's manual.
Does the WEN 20691 work with a regular shop vac?+
Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is wider than the saw port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the port on one end and your vac hose on the other, so the hose stays put through the whole cut.
Is the WEN 20691 port the same as the WEN CT1065 track saw?+
Yes. Both WEN track saws use the same dust port adapter size, 35 mm inside and 39.5 mm outside. The same GulpDust adapter fits both saws.
Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+
No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it onto the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.
Can I print this adapter myself?+
Yes. You can buy the printed PETG part shipped from the US, or download the STL file and print it at home. We suggest PETG with 3 walls and 25 percent infill.
