WEN CT1065 10-Amp 6-1/2 in. Plunge Cut Track Saw

Model: CT1065Category: Track Saw

Specifications

Full port and fit detail for this tool

The WEN CT1065 is a 10 amp, 6-1/2 in. plunge cut track saw. A track saw earns its keep with long, clean rips, and every one of those rips makes a line of fine dust. Pulling that dust at the port keeps your cut line visible and keeps the track clean, so the next pass glides instead of grinding on grit.

The dust port sits at the back of the saw. A GulpDust PETG adapter fits it on one end and your shop vac hose on the other, so the hose holds instead of falling off mid cut.

WEN CT1065 Dust Port: What Fits It

The dust port on the CT1065 mounts at the back of the saw. Our PETG adapter is built to fit it.

Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 in. or 2-1/2 in. Neither one seals on a saw port by itself. That gap is why dust trails behind the saw instead of going into the hose.

The adapter grips the saw port on one end and your vac hose on the other, so you get a snug fit with no tape and no clamps.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the WEN CT1065

First, clear any packed dust out of the port, so it fits snug.

Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so a firm push holds it. Press your shop vac hose onto the other end. Turn the vac on before you plunge, so the first chips go into the hose and not onto your track.

Why a Track Saw Needs Dust Collection

A track saw cuts fast and makes a lot of fine dust. That dust hangs in the air, and it lands on the track, where it can throw off the next cut.

Pulling the dust right at the port keeps the track clean and the air clear. You see your line, and you breathe easier. On a budget saw like the CT1065, a small printed adapter is all it takes.

WEN CT1065 Dust Collection FAQ

What fits the dust port on the WEN CT1065?+

Our PETG adapter does. One end presses onto the saw port. The other end takes your shop vac hose.

Does the WEN CT1065 work with a regular shop vac?+

Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is wider than the saw port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the port on one end and your vac hose on the other.

Does the same adapter fit the WEN 20691 cordless track saw?+

Yes. Both WEN track saws use the same dust port, so one adapter covers both.

Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+

No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it onto the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.

Do you sell the design file?+

No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.
