Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. Neither one fits a tool port like this on its own. That gap is why dust drifts up into your face as you cut.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the DeWalt DCS355B Multi-Tool
First, look at the front port on the tool. Wipe out any dust so the adapter seats clean.
If we can make an adapter for this tool, press the tool end onto the port. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end.
Turn the vac on before you start. A clear cut line helps you stay on the mark in tight spots.
