The Fein MultiMaster is an oscillating multi-tool. It sands into corners, cuts flush, and grinds in spots no other tool reaches. That work happens close to your face, and it makes very fine dust.
Straight talk first: the MultiMaster itself has no dust port. Fein sells a dust extraction set, part 92602102000, that clamps onto the tool. We print our PETG adapter to the size you measure at that set's hose connection and step it to any standard shop vac hose.

Fein MultiMaster Dust Port: The Fein Extraction Set Is the Port
Check the back of a bare MultiMaster and you will not find a dust port. Fein handles extraction with a separate part, the dust extraction set, part number 92602102000. It clamps onto the tool.
That set has a hose connection on it. A GulpDust adapter mates it, one end on the set connection and the other end on your shop vac hose.
Get the Fein set on the tool first, then the adapter carries it to whatever vac you already own.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Fein MultiMaster
Fit the Fein extraction set to the tool first. Without the set there is nothing for a hose to grab.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the set's connection. We print it to the size you measure, so it holds with a firm press. Then press your shop vac hose onto the other end.
Turn the vac on before the tool touches wood. Fine dust gets pulled the moment it forms.
Why Oscillating Tools Need Dust Collection
An oscillating tool works in corners, under trim, and inside cabinets. Your face is usually right above the cut.
The dust it makes is fine. It hangs in the air long after the cut, and it coats everything in the room.
