Ryobi PTS01 Track Saw Dust Port Size and Vacuum Adapter Guide

The Ryobi PTS01 is an 18V ONE+ HP track saw with a 6-1/2 inch blade. It rides a track for long, straight cuts in plywood and sheet goods. Those cuts pour fine dust right along your line.

The dust port is round and sits at the rear. A community adapter maker measured the port at about 1-3/8 inches, or 34.9 mm, inside. The port also takes 1-1/4 inch and 1-7/8 inch hose ends. That is a community number, so measure your own port to confirm before you buy. A GulpDust PETG adapter matches the port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other end. No tape. No clamps.

Ryobi PTS01 Dust Port Size: About 1-3/8 Inches (34.9 mm) Inside

The PTS01 has a round dust port at the rear of the saw. A community adapter maker measured the saw side at about 1-3/8 inches, or 34.9 mm, inside. Ryobi does not publish the bore, so treat that as a close guide, not a hard spec.

The port is also part of a dual-size design that Ryobi shares across many of its tools. It takes both 1-1/4 inch and 1-7/8 inch hose ends. So a common shop vac hose may seat in the port on its own.

Measure your own port before you buy. If your hose does not seal, a GulpDust PETG adapter built to your numbers closes the gap and steps the port to your vac hose.

How to Measure Your Ryobi PTS01 Dust Port

Wipe the rear port clean first. Packed dust throws off your reading.

Open caliper jaws inside the port and measure the bore. You should read close to 34.9 mm. Then close the jaws around the outside of the port and write that number down too.

Two numbers, inside and outside, give the GulpDust configurator the full picture. If your readings differ from the community number, order to what you measured. Your saw wins every time.

How to Connect a Shop Vac to the Ryobi PTS01 Track Saw

If your hose end is 1-1/4 inch or 1-7/8 inch, try it in the port first. The dual-size design means it may seat with no adapter at all.

If the fit is loose, press the small end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so a firm push locks it in. Then press your shop vac hose onto the wide end.

Run the vac for the whole cut. A track saw is all about a clean, straight line, and a clear view of that line makes the cut better. Your lungs get a break too.
