The onboard dust port on the 20418 takes the included dust bag or a hose. WEN states the size on the product page: 1-1/4 in. (31.75 mm) inside and 1-7/16 in. (36.51 mm) outside. The tool-only 20418BT uses the same port.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 inch or 2-1/2 inch. Neither one seals on a 31.75 mm port by itself. That gap is why fine dust leaks out around the hose instead of going into it.
