WEN HB321V 7.5-Amp 3 x 21 in. Variable Speed Belt Sander
Specifications
Full port and fit detail for this tool
The WEN HB321V is a 7.5 amp, 3 x 21 in. variable speed belt sander. A belt sander is the dustiest tool in most shops. It strips wood fast, and all that wood turns into fine dust that the little cloth bag cannot keep up with. Hooking a shop vac to the port pulls the dust at the source, so it never reaches your air.
The onboard port is round and takes either the bag or a hose. A GulpDust PETG adapter fits that port on one end and your shop vac hose on the other, so the hose holds instead of falling off.

WEN HB321V Dust Port: What Fits It
The onboard dust port on the HB321V takes the included dust bag or a hose. Our PETG adapter is built to fit it.
Most shop vac hoses are 1-7/8 in. or 2-1/2 in. Neither one seals on a sander port by itself. That gap is why fine dust leaks out around the hose instead of going into it.
The adapter grips the sander port on one end and your vac hose on the other, so you get a snug fit with no tape and no clamps.
How to Connect a Shop Vac to the WEN HB321V
First, pull the dust bag off and clear any packed dust out of the port, so it fits snug.
Press the tool end of the PETG adapter onto the port. It is a friction fit, so a firm push holds it. Press your shop vac hose onto the other end. Turn the vac on before the belt touches wood.
Dust Bag vs. Shop Vac on a Belt Sander
The included bag catches the big chips, but the fine dust blows right through the cloth. Fine dust is the part that hangs in the air and gets into your lungs.
A shop vac pulls far more air than the bag ever traps, so the fine dust goes into the vac instead of into the room. On a sander that removes this much wood, the vac is the upgrade that matters most.
WEN HB321V Dust Collection FAQ
What fits the dust port on the WEN HB321V?+
Our PETG adapter does. One end presses onto the sander port. The other end takes your shop vac hose.
Does the WEN HB321V work with a regular shop vac?+
Yes, with the right adapter. A standard shop vac hose is wider than the sander port. The GulpDust PETG adapter fits the port on one end and your vac hose on the other.
Do other WEN belt sanders use the same adapter?+
Some do. The HB6319 and the cordless 20418 take the same one. The larger HB424V needs its own. Pick your model in the configurator and you get the right part.
Do I need clamps or tape to attach the adapter?+
No. The adapter is a friction fit. You push it onto the port and it holds. The same goes for the vac hose end.
Do you sell the design file?+
No. We sell the finished part. Each one is printed to order in PETG and ships from the US.
