About This Part
Festool and DeWalt use their own locking connectors. This adapter is sized to the round part of those ports on one end and gives you a standard shop-vac hose size on the other. So you can run the hose you already own.
The twist-lock comes from your OWN connector. On DeWalt, your DWV9000 AirLock connector grabs the round end. On Festool, your CleanTec hose slips on. There is nothing new to trust: the round fit is sized to the verified port, and your OEM part does the locking.

Does it lock like the real Festool or DeWalt part?+
The lock comes from your own connector. On DeWalt, your DWV9000 AirLock connector clamps the round end. On Festool, your CleanTec hose slips on. Our part is sized to the verified round port so it seats right; your OEM connector does the twisting and locking.
Do I need a DeWalt DWV9000?+
For the DeWalt AirLock lock, yes. Most AirLock users already own the DWV9000 connector. Our adapter gives that connector a standard 2.5 inch hose end. For Festool, you just need your CleanTec hose.
What size hose does it take?+
The back end is a 2.5 inch shop-vac hose spigot. Ask us for another common hose size and we print it to match.
