About This Part
The same magnetic port, sized up for a 4 inch main line. A wide hose spigot on one end and a flat magnetic face on the other. Print two, press a disc magnet into each pocket, and the two faces pull together.
Put one half on your dust collector drop and the other on your 4 inch hose. Now you move the big hose from machine to machine with no clamp to fight and no threads to line up.
It prints spigot down with no supports. The magnet pockets open at the face, so the magnets just drop in.
Who it is for: Shops moving a 4 inch dust collector hose between a table saw, a planer, and a sander.

4-Inch Magnetic Dust Port FAQ
Will the magnets hold a 4 inch hose?+
Ten magnets per half give a strong pull for a normal 4 inch shop hose. A 4 inch hose is heavier than a 2-1/2 inch one, so for a long or stiff hose, add more magnets or support the hose so it does not hang all its weight on the joint.
Do the magnets come with it?+
Not yet. It uses standard 10 mm by 3 mm disc magnets that drop into the pockets with a dab of glue. We can include them on request.
How do the two halves connect?+
Each half holds ten disc magnets. Face them together and the magnets pull them tight. Pull them apart to disconnect. Install the magnets with opposite poles out on the two halves so they attract, not push away.
